Taylor is a queer circus artist originally from Kaurna Country (Adelaide). Their creative practice is interwoven with their love and study of Nature. Their journey started with Hyperrealist Drawing and Classical Piano before studying Marine Biology at Flinders University. While exploring Biology, they discovered Circus and found opportunities to perform and teach Fan Manipulation internationally, in the likes of China, Russia, France and Germany. Aspiring to dive deeper into their Circus career, they moved to Naarm (Melbourne) and studied at NICA, where they excelled in Aerial Rope, Hand-balancing and Group Acrobatics. Their creative works explore identity, self-expression and the principles of Nature through contemporary forms of Circus, Theatre and Movement.
