Masande Blenjana is born and raised in East London, South Africa. A passionate dancer, singer, and actor, I discovered my love for performing at the age of three. Inspired by artists such as Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child, and teaching myself to dance by following television programmes like Jika Majika, My natural stage presence and energy were evident from a young age.In 2020, I enrolled at Lady Grey Arts Academy, where I pursued Dance, Drama, and Tourism as part of my artistic studies. After matriculating in 2022, I furthered my training in 2023 at the Sonwa Sakuba Institute for the Performing Arts, majoring in Dance while also studying Drama, Music, and Musical Theatre.
That same year, Masande’s talent shone in several productions, including his first major role as Shrek in Shrek the Musical JR. And other Productions such as Disney's Moana JR, Disney & Friends, Sarafina etc. My daily message when I'm about to perform is that "Perform like it's your last day on Earth!"
